Welcome to Part 3 of our Coping with COVID series in Park City where some of our friends and neighbors have been gracious enough to share how they are coping during this unprecedented time. Today we are featuring Brooks Kirchheimer, owner of Hearth & Hill in Park City in the NewPark Towncenter. Just about everyone in town know Brooks, as he’s been a Park City local for a long time. We are happy to have Brooks as a neighbor, selfishly, because his restaurant serves up not only delicious, locally sourced and healthy faire, but because he’s one awesome dude. Hearth & Hill has been a wonderful addition for the locals because we feel like our little neighborhood is committed to serving the local community.

Q.  What brings you the most joy?

A.  “For my wife and I, it is our 7-month old son Callen. He is laughing and smiling often now, and after crazy days at work, provide us with much needed love and light!”

Q.  What is your biggest challenge during this time?

A.  “Biggest challenge is staying on-top of all the new information that seems to be coming out and changing daily. As well as being the best supporter of our staff that we possibly can. Our mission at Hearth and Hill has been to "inspire our associates" and we are trying to do that as well as we can during these times.”

Q.  Do you have a go to Coping with COVID Cocktail?

A.  “I actually have fallen in love with a new local beer from Proper Brewing Co. it is called Lei Effect. Give it a try, super good!”

Q.  What are you most looking forward to when this is over?

A.   We look forward to what I think a lot of people look forward to, gathering socially again. Being able to share moments with friends, family and others together. This opportunity has given us a chance to meet new people, and to give back to those in our community that we may never have met otherwise, and that to us, is a strong silver lining of all of this!

Us too!  We are grateful to Brooks and his team and all they do for the community.  Everyone who works with Brooks is always so welcoming and kind and makes visiting that much more special.

Next week Hearth & Hill is introducing “Farmer’s Market Bags” - make sure to follow them on Instagram for all the details.  They’ve teamed up with some amazing local purveyors from Red Bicycle Bread and Ranui Gardens and more.
