This, in our opinion, is just one of the reasons they’ve mastered the art of taking care of people in their beautiful space. Basalt is a boutique wellness center and gift shop located in the 9th + 9th area of Salt Lake, Utah. Specializing in Massage, Facials and Skin Care services. In an age where everyone is spinning around and somedays customer service seems to be a thing of the past, Basalt is the place you can leave your stress at the entrance and prepare to R E L A X. We believe, there’s not another Day Spa that will take care of you the way Basalt takes care of their clients.
Amber & Jasmine are super busy these days keeping up with all the regulations and keeping their business afloat during this unprecedented time. Basalt has carved out a niche in the Day Spa market because there was a need for a consistently perfect getaway. Their wonderful staff is a testament to how Basalt is so remarkable. One of our favorite things about Basalt is the vast amount of knowledge their skin care team possesses. Any question I ever have about my skin, they can always answer and lead me in the right direction for better skin moving forward. Plus, they have a wonderful boutique stocked full of goodies to make you glow! All natural Make-Up, Organic Skin Care, Heat Wraps, you name it, they’ve got it! Just writing about it has me so stoked to get back in and spend the day at the spa. With all the stress of Corona, I can’t wait!

Q . What gives you the most joy during this time?
A. “Being with our kids! They are so innocent and present in the moment.”
Q. Do you have a favorite cocktail during covid?
“Dirty martini or Manhattan (with the yummy cherries we get from Indigo Highway). “
Q. What is your biggest challenge during this time?
A. “Making time to de-stress and stay consistent with practices that help with that like yoga and reading.”
Q. What do you look forward to most when this is all over?
A. “Feeling more content & stable. Reopening Basalt and seeing our staff & clients again. Standing close to loved ones and wrapping our arms around the people we care about. Live music.”
